Billabong and Nautique have a very close working relationship as well as two mutual athletes, Danny Harf and Shawn Watson.

Nautique has partnered with Billabong over the past years with a special Billabong wrap on one of the Super Air boats and then giving it away through Enter-to-Win promotions.

This year at the Worlds in Oklahoma City, Billabong sent up their wrapped Super Air Nautique 220 to be showcased in their booth.  This boat looks really sick!  Check out the video of Shawn Watson as he takes you through this boat at Worlds.

Yesterday afternoon I had the privilege of watching and helping our Team Nautique athletes volunteer at Give Kids The World.  What an unbelievable experience, not only for the kids but even more so for everyone from Nautique that volunteered. 

Children from all over who have critical illnesses make a wish to visit Disney World.  Give Kids The World grants these children’s wishes with an all expense paid vacation to their beautiful resort for a week of fun and relaxation.  This is made possible from the many generous donors among businesses and celebrities. 

Our team was touched by this experience as they spent time giving back as volunteers.  The ice cream parlor was their favorite spot to volunteer.  I’m just not sure if more ice cream was served or consumed by the servers, but that’s where we all ended our evening.

In talking with Jaret Llewellyn today about last night’s event, Jaret said “When I was driving home I was really reminded of how fortunate we have it in life.  We’re healthy and have so much to be thankful for.”  He added, “This opportunity with Give Kids The World,  was life changing and a lot of fun.”

Congratulations Andy for winning Slalom and Tricks at the Senior Waterski World Trophy Tournament!!! 

Andy surprised everyone on his 1^st place finish in Tricks with a winning score of 4980.  In Slalom, it came down to Andy running 1 buoy at 41 off to claim the Senior World title in Slalom.

Keep it up Andy!  What a great representation Andy continues to have for Nautique!

Nautique, Fox and Hyperlite sponsored House Boat Trip w/ special thanks to Wakeboard Magazine and Alliance.

Riders from both Nautique and Fox joined up to take a team trip to Bull Shoals Lake, a lake that is very special to Shaun Murray.  Shaun grew up going to Bull Shoals Lake every summer with his family and has been trying for years now to put together a Wakeboard trip to this secret peace of heaven on earth. 

So, Shaun put it together this year…Four of the top riders in the world, Danny Harf, Jimmy LaRiche, Shaun Murray and Rusty Malinowski spent four days on a house boat with Alliance Magazine filming for a Pull Section as well as filming for Hyperlite’s new video. Wakeboard Magazine was also shooting for an article in an upcoming issue.  This is very unusual but very cool to have both Alliance and Wakeboard Magazines on location for the same trip.  Many thanks to these guys for helping get this trip together.

Special Thanks to Sammy Roberts for helping supply the boats.  We had a brand new 2009 Super Air Nautique 230 fully weighted, throwing a massive wake and another backup 230 that was used as a chase boat. 

The conditions very unbelievable, with butter smooth water all day, everyday.  House boats are always a huge hit: playing on the slides, a diving contest, some competitive tubing and a whole lot of fun. 

This video will just highlight riding, hanging out, and having fun.  The full Alliance video will debut in the next Pull Section which is a DVD series that Alliance puts together.  That’s huge!  Not to mention that the trip footage from Alliance will be in the new Hyperlite video.  Here’s a sneak peak!
